DeLaval Launches Mini Swinging Brush

BANNOCKBURN, IL – September 6, 2016 – Today DeLaval Inc. announced the mini swinging brush MSB is available for nationwide distribution in the United States. The news further reinforces DeLaval’s commitment to herd health and productivity with a solution that aims to enhance the growth and development of calves. The brush is an essential part of an integrated cow comfort strategy to keep calves well-groomed while improving skin health and blood circulation. MSB will be on display at DeLaval’s booth number EH 3011 – 3315 at World Dairy Expo, October 4 – 8 in Madison, WI.

The mini swinging brush MSB helps improve a calf’s skin health by removing parasites and debris while improving social behaviors. It is a smaller version of the popular DeLaval swinging cow brush SCB. The adjustable design of the MSB allows producers to alter its height as calves grow and its patented pivot action provides greater coat coverage. A protected motor system makes it ideal for rugged environments.

“To lay the groundwork for a productive herd, breeders and producers invest a significant amount in premium genetics,” states Aaron Kaplan, Solution Manager of Farm Supplies, Liners and Tubes, Milk Extraction for DeLaval Inc. “The mini swinging brush MSB helps them safeguard that investment with a tool designed for the early stages of a cow’s life. By promoting growth and comfort, the MSB helps prepare tomorrow’s dairy today by assisting calves in reaching their genetic potential.”

DeLaval mini swinging brush is available at dealerships throughout the United States. Interested producers are invited to visit to locate their closest authorized DeLaval dealer.
